[queries]

it's not like these are particularly well done as far as graphic design goes or unique as far as ideas go...it's just some stuff i wanted to remind myself of.

Amy Pond.

[is...a ginger]

The Doctor: Amy, only one thought, one simple instruction: don't follow me under any circumstances.

Amy Pond: I won't.

Vincent Van Gogh: Will you follow him?

Amy Pond: Of course.

Vincent Van Gogh: I love you.

Another Productive Morning

You can always know when I'm having one of those when I pause everything to write a blog post. Yup.

I miss you all.

I've been doing NaNoWriMo and right now I'm only about two days behind, which...actually makes me feel pretty good. Usually at this point I'd be way ahead, but hey, my life is not as uncomplicated as it once was (is there a double negative in there somewhere? I'm not sure). My novel is a lot more disjointed than anything I've ever written and at this point it's more like a bunch of short stories with semi-loose connections between them. Also random other tangents I've written when I can't seem to bring myself to like living in the castle. [yeah, the connected-short-stories take place in a castle, kill me]

Well, most of it is terrible so don't expect to be reading it.

Oh! Yesterday...nothing exciting happened. But I'm pretty sure I didn't fail my midterm. So...yussssss [/Kip].

I'm wearing my white suit jacket because it makes me feel cool and I need to feel cool to be able to get anything done.

Unrelated, I watched the first season of Battlestar Galactica (yes, i keep giving you evidence of my productivity), and I mostly enjoyed it, so maybe I'll get around to season two when I have free time (like over Christmas break). [juuuust kidding family, i want to spend time with you, not Starbuck and Adama and crew]

I actually really dislike the theme music for it, which is only slightly annoying because now I have nothing to suggest for you to listen to.

I am enjoying some nice Police right now, if you're interested.

[hello again]

I have set aside this morning to study for my last midterm.

So clearly it's the best time to blog.

Nope, never mind, I have work to do.

i've been thinking/relearning about...

"What commandment is the foremost of all?"

Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.'

The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

[Mark 12:28-31]

"For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'"

[Galatians 5:13-14]

What exactly does it look like to love yourself as God would have you? In other words, what love are we reflecting when we love our neighbors?

[perhaps i should save this question in case i ever fill in on YoQ again, hm...or perhaps it's already been asked]

I [had] a dream...

in it I blogged a wonderfully articulate post about...something I can't remember now.

And we ate queso burritos in Spanish class, and then if we stayed late we got to have bacon and dip it in queso.

I was really hungry when I went to bed.

That is all.
